Introduction
Verse Veil ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using Verse Veil, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Display Name & Leaderboards
- •There are no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your email address
- •When you finish scenes or levels, solve Lift the Veil verses, restore Bible Fragments paintings, play the Weekly Challenge or add friends, the display name and avatar you chose, a random player ID, your scores, rank and premium status are sent to our leaderboard service so they can be shown to other players. The service also records your country (from your connection) to show a flag beside your name
Profile Photo (optional)
- •If you choose a profile photo from your library or take one with your camera, the app only reads the photo you pick. It is kept on your device and shown on your screens and the cards you share
- •Unless you turn off "Show on the leaderboard", a small copy (256 by 256 pixels) is sent to our leaderboard service to be shown beside your name to other players and friends. Before anyone sees it, it is checked automatically for content unfit for a family game; a photo that does not pass is not stored
- •Other players can report or hide a photo; a photo reported by several players is taken down. Removing your photo, turning the option off, or deleting your data removes it from our service
- •When you save a card or video you share, it goes to your Photos only with your permission
Purchase Information
- •In-app purchases processed entirely by Apple/Google
- •We never collect or store your payment card details
- •We only receive purchase confirmation to unlock features
Collected Automatically

- •Scores, completed levels, unlocked content, achievements
- •Stored only on your device; there is no cloud sync
