Please read these terms carefully before using VerseWise. By using our app, you agree to these terms.

Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using VerseWise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. VerseWise is operated by Tranquility Pages ("we," "us," or "our").
Description of Service
Free Features

Premium Features (VerseWise Premium)
- •Study Circles for group Bible study and fellowship

- •Advanced study content, expansion packs, and Teachable Lessons
- •Presentation Mode for ministry and church teaching
- •Cloud sync across devices
- •Available via monthly, yearly, or lifetime subscription
Licensed Bible Translations
VerseWise offers 13 Bible translations across three tiers. Free translations are available to every user without a subscription. Premium translations require an active VerseWise Premium subscription.
Public Domain (Free)
These translations are in the public domain and may be read and studied freely within the App:
- •King James Version (KJV)
- •American Standard Version (ASV)
- •World English Bible (WEB)
- •Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
- •Literal Standard Version (LSV)
Licensed (Free)
These licensed translations are made available to all users at no cost. Bible Brain audio is available for these translations:
- •English Standard Version (ESV)
- •New King James Version (NKJV)
- •New Living Translation (NLT)
- •Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
These texts are made available under license. Copyright belongs to their respective publishers. They may not be copied, redistributed, or republished outside the App.
Premium Translations
These translations require an active VerseWise Premium subscription:
- •New International Version (NIV)
- •New American Standard Bible (NASB)
- •Amplified Bible (AMP)
- •Revised Standard Version (RSV)
Premium translations are provided for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be copied, redistributed, or republished outside the App. All copyright belongs to their respective publishers.
Study Circles and User-Generated Content
Study Circles allow users to engage in group Bible study, share discussion messages, prayer requests, and reflections with fellow believers. When you share content within a Study Circle, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant VerseWise a non-exclusive license to display and transmit that content to other members of your Study Circle within the App.
Study Circle leaders have the ability to manage group content, including removing messages or posts that do not align with the group's purpose. We also reserve the right to moderate content that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate by other users.
You are responsible for the content you share. Please ensure that all contributions are respectful, encouraging, and in keeping with the spirit of Christian fellowship.
Discussion messages, prayer requests, and prayer testimonies are visible to all circle members. Users should not share sensitive personal information in circle discussions.
Subscription Terms
VerseWise Premium
- •VerseWise Premium is a subscription service managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- •Pricing: $1.99 per month, $14.99 per year, or $199.99 for lifetime access
- •Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- •Cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play account
- •Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- •Lifetime purchases are one-time and do not renew
Refunds and Billing
- •All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play)
- •Refund requests must be directed to the respective platform
- •Cancellation and refund policies follow Apple and Google platform rules
- •We do not process payments or refunds directly
- •Pricing is subject to change with advance notice to subscribers
Presentation Mode
VerseWise Premium includes Presentation Mode, which provides access to Teachable Lessons designed for personal ministry and church teaching settings.
You are welcome to use Teachable Lessons content to teach and edify others in your local church, small group, or ministry context. However, this content may not be republished, sold, or distributed commercially in any format. All teaching materials remain the intellectual property of VerseWise and Tranquility Pages.
Audio Content
VerseWise offers Bible audio streaming provided by Faith Comes By Hearing. Use of Bible audio content is subject to Faith Comes By Hearing's terms of service and licensing agreements. This audio is streamed through the App and may not be downloaded, copied, or redistributed.
Audio series such as Stories of Redemption are original content created by VerseWise. These recordings are protected by copyright and are provided exclusively for use within the App.
Text-to-Speech
VerseWise includes a Listen button that uses your device's native text-to-speech capability to read content aloud. This feature is processed entirely on your device using the built-in speech synthesis engine provided by your operating system.
No audio data is recorded, transmitted, or stored by VerseWise when using this feature. The quality and availability of voices may vary depending on your device settings and operating system version.
Sharing
VerseWise allows you to share verses, study content, prayer stickers, and presenter notes using your device's native share sheet. When you choose to share content, it leaves the App and is delivered to the platform or application you select.
Once content is shared outside of VerseWise, it becomes subject to the terms and privacy policies of the receiving platform. VerseWise is not responsible for how shared content is handled, stored, or displayed by third-party services.
Content Downloads
VerseWise allows you to download expansion content from our servers for offline use. All downloaded content, including study packs, lesson materials, and supplemental resources, is intended for use exclusively within the App.
Downloaded content may not be extracted, copied, or shared outside the App. We reserve the right to update or modify downloadable content at any time.
Prayer Room
The Prayer Room feature includes a prayer journal, prayer wall, and prayer timer with reflections. Prayer journal entries and timer reflections are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to share them within a Study Circle.
Prayer wall posts may be shared with other members of your Study Circle. You are responsible for the content you choose to share. Shared prayer requests and reflections are visible to other members of your group and may be moderated by group leaders.
We encourage all users to approach shared prayer content with respect, compassion, and confidentiality.
Account and Data
Account creation is optional for most features. You can use the App's study, reading, and library tools without an account. Creating an account is required only for Cloud Sync and Study Circles.
You may delete your Study Circle profile and leave any groups at any time from within the App. When you delete your profile, your shared content within Study Circles may be removed or anonymized.
Local data, including prayer journal entries, study progress, downloaded content, sermon drafts, and other personal content, is stored on your device. You can clear all local data by uninstalling the App from your device.
Deleting your account. If you have a Cloud Sync account, you can sign out and permanently wipe your cloud data at any time from Settings → Cloud Sync. To delete your account entirely, including all associated cloud data, contact us at tranquilitypages@gmail.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Cloud Sync (Premium)
Cloud Sync is a Premium feature that keeps your bookmarks, highlights, notes, prayer requests, lesson progress, and sermon drafts synchronized across the devices where you are signed in to the same VerseWise account. Cloud Sync is included with any active VerseWise Premium subscription (monthly, yearly, or lifetime).
Synced data is stored on servers we operate using Cloudflare infrastructure. You can sign out, wipe your cloud data, or delete your account at any time from Settings → Cloud Sync within the App, or by contacting us at tranquilitypages@gmail.com.
Cloud Sync availability requires an active subscription verified through RevenueCat. If your subscription lapses, your local data remains on each of your devices, but new changes will no longer sync between them.
Multi-Provider Authentication
To enable Cloud Sync, you may sign in using one of three methods:
- •Sign in with Apple — you authenticate against Apple's identity service. We receive a stable user identifier; we do not see your Apple ID password.
- •Sign in with Google — you authenticate against Google. We receive a Google account identifier and basic profile information you authorize; we do not see your Google password.
- •Email and password — you create credentials with us. Passwords are never stored in plaintext. They are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA256 with a per-user random salt before being stored. We cannot read or recover your password and can only initiate a password reset.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials you create and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us at tranquilitypages@gmail.com.
Sub-Processors
To deliver the App and its features, we rely on the following third-party service providers ("sub-processors"). Each handles a specific, limited function on our behalf:
- •Cloudflare (D1, R2, Workers) — hosts our Cloud Sync database, content delivery, and authentication backend.
- •Resend — sends transactional email such as password reset messages.
- •RevenueCat — verifies subscription entitlements with Apple and Google.
- •Apple and Google — provide app distribution, Sign in with Apple / Google, and process all subscription payments.
- •Faith Comes By Hearing (Bible Brain API) — provides Bible audio streaming.
- •Bolls.life — provides licensed Bible translation text for the licensed-free and premium translations.
We do not sell your personal information. Each sub-processor is bound by its own privacy policy and operates only on data necessary to perform its function. Details about the data flow for each of these services are described in our Privacy Policy.
Supported Platforms
VerseWise is distributed on the following platforms. Use of the App on each platform is also subject to that platform's applicable terms (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms of Service):

- •Android — Google Play Store
- •macOS — Mac App Store (distributed under the same Apple ID as the iOS version)
Email Subscription
Users may optionally subscribe to the VerseWise community email list. Your email address is collected only with your consent and is used exclusively for VerseWise communications, including updates, new content announcements, and community encouragement.
We will never sell, share, or distribute your email address to third parties. You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in every email we send.
Acceptable Use
Guidelines for using VerseWise responsibly
You Agree To

Prohibited Actions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Redistribute, resell, or republish App content or Bible text
- Share harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent security features
Intellectual Property
All content in VerseWise, including but not limited to app design, study materials, lesson designs, leadership resources, character studies, heresies resource, original teaching materials, audio content, graphics, and user interface, is owned by or licensed to VerseWise and Tranquility Pages and protected by copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our original content without prior written permission from Tranquility Pages.
Heresies and False Teachings Resource
VerseWise includes a resource on heresies and false teachings that is educational and theological in nature. This content examines historical and modern theological errors from a biblical perspective, grounded in orthodox Christian doctrine.
This resource is intended solely for educational purposes and to help believers develop discernment. It is not intended to attack, demean, or disparage any individuals, churches, or religious groups. All content is presented with the goal of encouraging sound biblical understanding and faithfulness to Scripture.
Disclaimers
"As Is" Service
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App or its features.
Study Content
The App provides Bible study tools and theological content for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel or professional guidance.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tranquility Pages shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of appropriate jurisdiction.
