  • Digital platform access for project management

Specific services, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are detailed in individual service agreements or contracts entered into between you and Tranquility Pages.

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

3.1 Account Security

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Provide accurate and current information

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes

4. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain full ownership and copyright of your manuscripts, books, and original content. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to edit, format, design, publish, and distribute your work according to our service agreements.

4.2 Our Content and Services

All website content, service materials, templates, designs (except your specific book design), processes, and proprietary methods remain the intellectual property of Tranquility Pages. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

4.3 Work Product

Upon full payment, you will own the final formatted book files, cover design, and marketing materials created specifically for your project. We retain the right to showcase our work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.

5. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

5.1 Payment Terms

  • All fees are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your service agreement
  • Payment plans may be available by arrangement
  • Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of services
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Additional services beyond the original scope will be quoted separately

5.2 Refund Policy

  • Refunds are available within 14 days of initial payment if no work has commenced
  • Partial refunds may be available for work not yet completed, minus completed deliverables
  • Refunds are not available once final files have been delivered and accepted
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing with detailed explanation
  • Processing fees and third-party costs are non-refundable

5.3 Cancellation Policy

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. You will be responsible for payment of all services completed to the date of termination. Upon termination, you will receive all completed work product.

6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

6.1 Service Availability

While we strive for consistent service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or services. We may suspend services for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

6.2 No Guarantee of Success

While we provide professional publishing services, we cannot guarantee commercial success, specific sales numbers, or market reception of your book. Success depends on many factors beyond our control, including market conditions, author marketing efforts, and reader preferences.

6.3 Third-Party Services

We work with various third-party services (distributors, printers, platforms) that have their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or failures of these third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tranquility Pages and its employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Loss of data or manuscripts
  • Business interruption
  • Missed publication deadlines due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Third-party platform issues or policy changes

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquility Pages from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms or any service agreement
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Content you provide that infringes intellectual property rights
  • False or misleading information you provide
  • Your use of our services in violation of these Terms

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage contacting us directly to resolve disputes amicably. Most issues can be resolved through open communication and Christian principles of reconciliation.

9.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Tranquility Pages operates. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.
